Andree Funnell – Principle Consultant
Andree has 25 years experience in Human Resources and Training/Development and has worked with staff and managers at all levels within blue chip global companies, private sector and the voluntary sector organisations. For the past seven years she has been working as a Learning & Development and HR and Change Consultant and prior to that was employed as an HR & Training Manager for the UK’s No 1 retailer where she gained a wealth of valuable experience over a seven year period.
She is CIPD qualified, a member of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, a qualified NLP Practitioner and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
As a Consultant Andree has worked with blue chip organisations such as BP, Sainsburys, Tibbett & Britten, Briggs Amasco and the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts and has experience working with Public Sector bodies i.e District and Local Councils and the Voluntary Sector. As a Training and Development Consultant she is able to deal with clients at all levels and designs, develops and implements training plans and workshops to suit and enhance the needs of the individuals and the organisation. Through her wealth of experience in business and with people, she has also mentored small to medium size organisations to identify and develop their vision and objectives and help them grow and develop their staff.
Evelyn Thurley – Associate Consultant
Evelyn Thurley has a Masters in Employment Law, degree qualified in Business Studies and a is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development .
She has over 25 years experience in HR Management at a senior level, working in Top 100 Companies such as Marks and Spencer, Cable and Wireless and T-Mobile.
Since establishing her own consultancy in 2003, her roles now include providing operational and strategic HR Management services to private and public sector organisations, on an interim, project management or advisory basis. In addition Evelyn continues to lecture in HR Management at undergraduate and post graduate levels and continues her role as a moderator for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Active Training Team - Associate Consultants
A team of actors & facilitators with fifteen years experience in the training world. The actors are a diverse mix with parallel careers in film, theatre & television, they act as a bridge between the theory of the training model & the reality of the workplace. They use theatre to examine workplace issues, showing how attitudes &behaviours impact on situations. Through interaction, delegates explore how a change in behaviour can lead to a preferable outcome.
Adam Christopher is a graduate who has also gained an accredited Acting Diploma. He has worked as a professional actor in all mediums for the last fifteen years and worked as an actor in the training world for the last twelve: acting, leading and facilitating sessions and designing programmes.
Dermott Kerrigan studied history & drama at the University of Kent and graduated with a BA (Hons.). He then trained as an actor at LAMDA, graduating in1992. Since then he has worked as an actor in film, TV & theatre & has been running a parallel career as a freelance trainer since 2002.
Tessa Madejczyk – Associate Consultant
Tessa Madejczyk is a professional NLP Corporate and Personal Coach and Trainer. She holds an advanced Diploma and Accreditation in professional Coaching and trained with the Coaching Academy. She is also a Licensed Master NLP Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Hypnotic Practitioner.
Tessa is a member of the following bodies - The Coaching Academy, Association for Coaching, the Society of Neuro-Linguistic-Programming and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Prior to Tessa finding her calling as a Professional Coach and Trainer, she was a highly skilled business professional with a successful and progressive sales career spanning 20 years with major corporations, such as, American Express, Avis Rent a Car and Canon UK. She has extensive experience gained at all levels of management with Global, Multinational and National companies in varied market sectors. She has an understanding of change management, diversity and organizational pressures.
Sue Murkin – Associate Consultant
Sue specialises in stress management, performance management incorporating innovation & creativity in business, customer service excellence, coaching skills for managers and communication skills. With 23 years experience in retail management & property consultancy Sue has worked with staff from grassroots level to management within blue chip organisations, SME’s and the public sector, where she regularly delivers stress management programmes into the NHS, universities & colleges.
An accredited performance coach (CA), a Thomas DISC practitioner, a master NLP practitioner, an accredited hypnotherapist and a practitioner of energy meridian therapies, which Sue incorporates into her stress management programmes. She is also an associate of ITOL (Institute of Training & Occupational Learning).
Sue offers coaching, coach based appraisals & development and delivery of training programmes within her niche areas. Her passion for personal development has lead her to working for such companies as DLA Piper, Canary Wharf Limited, UCL, EDF, DeBeers, Tesco, Asda, Boots, Enterprise Gateway.
