Effective Leadership
Management or Leadership, what is the difference? This course will consider the role of a leader in changing organisations and appreciate the need for flexibility and adaptability in managing people and change. Delegates will be able to understand the difference between successful and effective leadership and identify the skills and attributes of an effective leader and how to use different leadership styles for different people in different situations to achieve optimum results from your team/people.
High Performing Teams
This course enables managers to develop their existing skills and learn new ones to motivate their teams into action, which will lead to improved performance and enable the team to achieve their goals. The course covers the key areas of team formation and development taking into consideration how individuals perform and their impact on the team in achieving the team's goals.
Effective team performance will only happen if the team are in tune with what they are trying to achieve with the determination and enthusiasm to exceed. This requires great skills from the manager to achieve an effective and motivated team.
Train the Trainer
To provide participants with the skills and confidence to identify training needs, design, and deliver interactive and impacting training sessions.
This course will show you how to harness the full potential of a training group by facilitating discussion and participation. You will learn how to adapt training to suit different learning processes and practice ways to keep attention by delivering stimulating sessions.
Effective Interviewing Skills
The aim of this highly interactive two day course is to provide the participants with the skills and the confidence to effectively carry out an effective and professional interview. Delegates will be able to transfer the key learning points to their own working environment and deliver best practice interviewing techniques to recruit the most suitable candidate for the role. This is a highly interactive programme utilising skilled actors who deliver outstanding performances as “potential interview candidates”. On day 2 of the course delegates will be carrying out a live interview with live feedback, the skills learnt can be utilized within the workplace.
Performance Management
Performance Management is widely recognised as playing a key role in the development of skills in the workplace and the appraisal interview is a vital part of this process. Correctly handled, the benefits of the appraisal interview - to the manager, the individual and the organisation - are enormous. Handled badly, or as an isolated event not linked to ongoing performance management and the appraisee may leave the appraisal interview feeling de-motivated and under-valued. This course is designed to examine the whole appraisal process, from preparation and the pre-appraisal meeting through to the structure of the appraisal interview itself, setting clear objectives and standards and delivering structured and constructive feedback - avoiding common pitfalls along the way.
Coaching for Performance
This course is for Managers who need to develop and maximise the potential of their team members. Delegates will identify key skills required in giving and receiving coaching and feedback. Use of questionnaires and successful feedback formula, one to one interaction using feedback models and group sessions.
Motivating Others
To provide the participants with the skills in identifying key motivating factors in people and in-turn to motivate individuals and teams in improving performance and results. This course will provide Managers and Team Leaders with the skills to motivate their people using a variety of motivational tools and theories to improve performance. This will be done by giving Managers the tools to build working relationships, understand their team members and inspire their team members to want to achieve more.
